Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Graphics Researcher to join our innovative team and advance the state-of-the-art in AI-powered dental prosthetics design. This role combines cutting-edge computer graphics research with real-world applications in dental technology, focusing on physical simulations of dentures and crowns. You'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation algorithms that bridge the gap between traditional CAD design and AI-driven automation.
## Key Responsibilities
### Research & Development
- Conduct advanced research in computer graphics algorithms specifically tailored for dental prosthetics design and manufacturing
- Develop and optimize 3D mesh processing algorithms
- Design and implement physical simulation systems for biomechanical analysis of dentures and crown
- Create novel rendering and visualization techniques for dental prosthetics modeling
### Technical Implementation
- Build robust 3D geometry processing pipelines for handling complex dental mesh data
- Optimize real-time rendering systems for interactive prosthetic design applications
- Implement physics-based simulation engines for biomechanical modeling of oral structures
### Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with dental professionals and CAD designers to understand clinical requirements
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate graphics algorithms with learning systems
- Publish research findings in top-tier computer graphics and medical technology conferences
## Required Qualifications
### Education & Experience
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or related field
- Strong publication record in computer graphics, computational geometry, or related fields
- Industry experience is a plus.
### Technical Skills
- Expert-level programming in Python for high-performance graphics applications
- Deep understanding of 3D geometry processing, mesh algorithms, computational geometry and finite elements analysis
- Knowledge of physics simulation frameworks
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for graphics applications and CUDA
