• Stand up CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and security tooling.
• Build new key modules: blockchain, LLM, security, member dashboard, API gateway, Agents.

Next 6-12 Months:

• Lead the launch of V4/5 production platform—zero-downtime deployments, 99.9 % SLA.
• Scale engineering from 0 to 6+ across backend, frontend, data, and AI-LLM teams.

• Drive cost-to-revenue ratio 25-40% % by optimizing cloud spend and pipelines.

Stages:

Phase A (Now): Technical Architect / Head of Engineering Focus on system design, building solid system on AI for operations, setting up LLM-AI Infra and security plus Blockchain stack almost done.

Phase B (Post-Series A/PMF): Promote to Head when managing 2 to 5+ engineers, raising major funding, and overseeing architecture/staffing.

What You’ll Own

Technical Strategy and Architecture

• Design a microservices-based stack (SaaS, Cloud, APIs) that powers real-time investment flows.
• Lead blockchain integrations and Web3 tooling for transparent asset management.
• Embed Gen-AI/LLM capabilities to automate portfolio analytics and customer support.

Security and Compliance:

• Own technical risk management: threat modeling, encryption key governance (no back-doors), and zero-trust access.
• Collaborate with legal and finance to ensure GDPR, MiFID II, and PSD2 compliance.

Team Leadership and fits CityZeen culture (4S)

• Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineers and AI Engineers.
• Instill agile best practices, code review rigor, and a culture of psychological safety.

Budget and technical Partnerships:

• Negotiate vendor contracts and cloud commitments—be a ruthless cost-killer without sacrificing speed.
• Forge alliances with cloud providers, open-source foundations, and technical partners in FinTech and blockchain.

Who You Are:

Seasoned technologist (8–15+ years). Senior engineering leadership in asset management, banking, or FinTech, with at least one major scale-up under your belt.

Full-stack mastery. Deep expertise in SaaS, Cloud (ICP/AWS/GCP), APIs, blockchain platforms, and Gen-AI/LLM integration.

Trusted communicator. Fluent in English plus two other languages "not mandatory" (French, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, etc.). Comfortable presenting to boards, regulators, and dev teams alike.

Emotionally intelligent leader. You build trust through transparency, empathy, and relentless follow-through. You are extremely careful on details, design (UX/UI) and care about our impact and reliability.

Compliance and security mindset. You understand that building financial systems means building trust—no shortcuts, no hidden keys. This is a KEY factor.

Budget hawk and deal-maker. You negotiate technical partnerships and vendor contracts like a CFO, always optimizing TCO.
