Own the complete operating system for reported safety events from intake to closure; Lead investigations of serious events including root cause analysis; Translate findings into corrective and preventive actions; Respond to high-risk clinical events requiring immediate attention; Develop and maintain patient safety protocols and policies; Define safety metrics and analyze trends; Prepare metrics and case narratives for leadership reporting; Support Patient Safety Review Committee governance activities; Partner with clinical product teams to incorporate safety expertise; Help shape the staffing model and operating structure of the safety function.
