Lead mechanical development of complex networking systems from concept to production; Provide technical leadership as subject matter expert for mechanical architecture and manufacturability; Evaluate and integrate new technologies in cooling and manufacturing; Drive system-level technical decisions balancing performance and cost; Remain actively engaged in hands-on engineering activities including CAD reviews and failure analysis; Lead cross-functional design reviews and collaborate with Electrical, Thermal, and Manufacturing teams; Develop and maintain mechanical design standards and engineering methodologies; Identify technical risks and drive mitigation plans; Support customer escalations and field failures through troubleshooting; Lead supplier engagements for design reviews and tooling strategies; Mentor and develop engineers through technical coaching; Contribute to long-term technology planning.
