Partner with faculty and budgetary staff to plan and develop application submissions to federal offices, private agencies, and commercial companies; Review sponsored project proposals for accuracy, content, and adherence to guidelines; Review budgets and related justifications for appropriateness and completeness; Ensure applicable indirect costs are applied; Serve as liaison between research units, central offices, and funding agencies; Manage all assigned grant submissions to ensure timeliness and accuracy; Coordinate the process of setting up awards in designated departments after grant number assignment; Ensure post-award responsibilities are completed including budget distribution, account reconciliation, and paperwork finalization; Conduct complex award management activities and provide oversight to other employees regarding audits and evaluations.
