## Responsibilities
As a Sr. Software Development Engineer on the Amazon Connect team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and delivering scalable, resilient systems for the next generation contact center.
- Owning code end-to-end from design to development.
- Working closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
- Solving highly complex engineering and algorithmic problems.
- Innovating on new service that addresses customer needs to build modern contact centers in the cloud.
- Maintaining a constant customer focus.
## Requirements
### Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
### Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
## Nice to Have
- Experience with modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, and more.

- Base salary range: $168,100.00 - $227,400.00 USD annually.
