Salary: $229,000 - 269,000 per year
Requirements:
We need hands-on knowledge of modern DevSecOps tooling and workflows, including Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and GitLab CI. We need familiarity with cloud design and security principles. We need experience coding in one or more languages such as C, C++, Python, PowerShell, TypeScript, C#, or Java. We need experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence. We need experience managing or developing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. We need experience helping teams interpret requirements, define interfaces, and conduct testing. We need experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. We need experience integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end delivery pipelines. We need Security+ certification. We need U.S. citizenship because the role requires a government security clearance. We need the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligibility is a plus. We value experience with password removal and vault-based secret handling. We value practical knowledge of SAST/DAST tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and OWASP ZAP. We value familiarity with container security tools such as Trivy, Aqua, Twistlock, and runtime protection. We value experience with secret-management platforms like Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and Azure Key Vault. We value experience applying software application and container-level cybersecurity compliance standards. We value experience with software configuration management principles and implementation. We value experience in U.S. Government IL6 cloud environments such as Cloud One and CloudWorks.
Responsibilities:
We ensure software baselines are configuration managed and properly tagged and versioned. We track source-line metrics, including total, added, modified, and removed SLOC, for each release. We maintain documentation for development licenses, tools, and libraries, including COTS and FOSS, through a human-readable software bill of materials. We manage the programs Agile planning and issue-tracking system. We oversee build-pipeline infrastructure to support development and operational software releases. We manage deployment of software into unclassified and classified test environments, including packaging and transferring applications, libraries, and dependencies. We manage software installers and deployment scripts for operational releases with support from the Field Operations and Maintenance team. We set up, configure, and maintain manual and automated test environments to support integration and testing. We integrate software applications with internal environments, such as SIPR Lab, with support from the I&T and system administration teams. We ensure software and container-level cybersecurity compliance with LM and U.S. Government standards. We generate cybersecurity artifacts needed for certification, accreditation, and deployment to target environments. We work with the Lead Architect to continuously improve software development processes and tooling.
