Principal Systems Engineer - Software - Tucson
Salary: $107,500 - 204,500 per year
Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, preferably STEM, along with at least 8 years of prior engineering experience. We require experience in Systems Engineering. We require experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering, Requirements Development, Requirements Management, Requirements Verification, or Integration and Test for software products. We require active and transferable U.S. government security clearance before the start date, and U.S. citizenship is required to obtain one.
Responsibilities:
We update and maintain system-level and subsystem-level requirements specifications for embedded software, configurable logic, and test system software. We model the system and associated development and production processes using Cameo. We conduct trade studies and present findings to customers. We provide technical Systems Engineering support for verification and validation activities to ensure requirements are properly assessed. We collaborate closely with Systems, Software, Configurable Logic, and Test teams on a range of technical program tasks. We participate in technical discussions with the customer. We serve as a knowledgeable go-to Systems Engineer for software-centric program capabilities. We help onboard new team members and mentor them using core Systems Engineering practices.
