Requirements:
2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware 1+ years of experience in computer networking High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations, or comparable technical/vocational experience Ability to travel to and between data center locations as needed Willingness to work temporarily at alternate sites during training or until the assigned facility is operational Reliable personal vehicle and valid drivers license for regional travel Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly, with group lifts for items over 41 pounds Comfort working in a 24/7 environment and participating in on-call rotation with after-hours support Ability to work in cramped, elevated, and noisy conditions Capability to bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours per day Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and gangways safely without limitation Preferred: customer-facing problem resolution experience and the ability to stay effective under pressure Preferred: industry-recognized certification such as CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+
Responsibilities:
Move and install large enterprise equipment Install fiber and copper cabling and complete patching between equipment Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation work Follow established hardware installation procedures and support break-fix activities Use material handling tools and equipment safely Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
