Responsibilities
Own project scope, quality, schedule, and budget for new construction and capital improvements; oversee construction project management and coordinate all construction-related activity; partner with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams; serve as owner's representative on construction sites; interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, punch-list, and closeout stages; develop project scope and prepare requests for proposals; negotiate with contractors and assess bids; manage cost, schedule, and quality while directing contractors and vendors; handle project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoices; troubleshoot equipment issues and perform root-cause failure analysis; support commissioning, integrated systems testing, and related oversight; assist with operations of installed facilities including procedure reviews and maintenance initiatives; support capital request development; analyze and report construction progress and financial performance; track and share key construction metrics; contribute to initiatives improving construction efficiency and data center resiliency; provide constructability reviews for electrical and mechanical designs.
