Senior Software Engineer
Salary: $229,000 - 269,000 per year
Requirements:
We expect a bachelors degree from an accredited university plus at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with no additional experience. We need experience with Linux technologies. We need experience in network engineering. We need experience using software code management tools and CI/CD. We require willingness to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance. We require U.S. citizenship for consideration. Preferred experience includes LAN/WAN design, subnetting, virtualization, VLAN tagging, routing, and troubleshooting. Preferred experience includes DevSecOps work with GitLab. Preferred experience includes Java. Preferred experience includes container platforms such as Docker and Podman. Preferred experience includes scripting with Python and Bash. Preferred experience includes boot image creation, virtual machines, Cisco switch configuration, Ansible, QEMU/Packer, PXE, and Spring Boot.
Responsibilities:
We work in an agile scrum environment to design and build technically complex software systems. We support the creation of reliable and reproducible media builds. We provide support for external network interfaces used for data ingest and offload. We assist with hardware rack builds. We maintain the program lab infrastructure. We perform on-site hardware installation and integration. We communicate technical capabilities and progress to internal leadership, external customers, and cross-functional partners. We collaborate closely with the broader team in a highly team-oriented setting.
