Deployment Architect

Salary: $70,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:
We require at least 3 years of experience in software, enterprise, or deployment architecture, or in SDLC or Agile environments. We need strong working knowledge of Java applications, including troubleshooting Java-based systems. We require solid experience with Apache Tomcat. We need strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or another relational database management system. We require familiarity with single sign-on technologies, including SAML 2.0, OAuth, or OIDC. We require a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration. We value knowledge of financial services operations. We require proficiency in English; fluency in French is a strong advantage. We need the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels, collaborate across teams, and lead contributors who do not report directly to us. We require strong project or engagement management experience, with excellent organizational skills and clear internal and external communication.
Responsibilities:
We lead the planning and design of product deployments for our solutions, working with internal and client stakeholders to create detailed technical design and specification documents. We determine the most suitable integration patterns and styles, along with the related non-functional requirements. We develop logical designs and high-level physical views for each service. We architect, design, automate, troubleshoot, evaluate, modify, test, deploy, and document robust solutions for our clients in SaaS and on-premises environments. We maintain a general understanding of CI/CD pipelines. We develop KPIs and KRIs that accurately measure operational performance. We apply knowledge of enterprise testing approaches, including unit, integration, and regression testing. We build strong relationships with leaders, team members, Product Owners, and end users to support delivery and testing. We work within Agile and SDLC processes. We debug components, identify corrective actions, and verify fixes for code defects. We perform detailed root-cause analysis to understand issues thoroughly. We look for ways to adopt innovative technologies. We challenge existing approaches and help drive innovation. We proactively communicate risks and manage them for assigned work.
