Requirements:
We are looking for 6+ years of experience in an SDET or QA automation engineering role, with substantial hands-on API automation expertise. We need strong Java programming skills for test automation development. We expect proven experience with automated testing tools and practices such as Selenium or similar solutions, along with web service and API testing. We require hands-on experience testing REST APIs using tools or frameworks like RestAssured, Postman automation, or comparable alternatives. We value practical experience with AI-powered QA automation tools and/or agentic AI frameworks for test automation. We look for experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools, including the ability to integrate API and UI automation into delivery pipelines. We need a solid understanding of HTTP protocols, API contracts, and service-oriented architectures. We expect a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum. We require experience with performance and load testing tools and methods, including API testing. We value deep knowledge of SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and implementation approaches.
Responsibilities:
We will design, build, and support scalable test automation frameworks. We will automate functional, API, and integration test cases by creating reusable and maintainable scripts. We will investigate and resolve issues related to automated and load testing, recommend fixes, and improve existing automation where needed. We will review test outcomes, identify root causes, assess severity and impact, and help prioritize defects for remediation. We will collaborate with developers to embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain quality throughout delivery. We will provide regular status updates on defects, regression testing, and automation progress using Jira and other reporting tools. We will assist with planning, developing, and delivering training on test automation frameworks and tools. We will maintain documentation for automation processes, templates, and best practices while driving process enhancements. We will work closely with engineering teams, product owners, and QA peers in Agile environments to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies. We will stay current with technology trends and continually improve our test automation practices. We will support functional and regression testing activities as needed to ensure end-to-end quality.
