Design Verification Engineer (eInfochips Inc) - San Jose

Salary: $87,400 - 132,000 per year
Requirements:
We need strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM. We require hands-on experience with AXI, NOC, Ethernet, PCIe, UCIe, and switch verification. We are looking for familiarity with CPU architectures such as ARM and RISC-V, along with C programming knowledge. We expect experience with regression and coverage closure. You should have in-depth knowledge, the ability to solve complex problems independently, and a track record of working with minimal guidance. You should be able to contribute as a technical resource for less experienced colleagues and, where needed, lead project team efforts. Typically, this role requires at least 8 years of related experience with a 4-year degree, or 6 years plus an advanced degree, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
We architect verification environments for ASIC and SoC designs and support verification from planning through multi-million-gate tapeout. We develop complex self-checking test benches with constrained-random stimulus generation. We create SoC test firmware and prepare test plan documentation to ensure ASIC features are fully covered. We develop and debug platform test firmware and targeted tests in C/C++. We collaborate on methodology improvements and review functional and technical specification documents. We implement and maintain an end-to-end formal verification flow. We write and modify scripts to automate verification workflows. We build verification environments, including assumptions, assertions, and cover properties aligned to the verification plan. We may also train junior staff and contribute to team leadership when needed.
