Design Verification Engineer - San Jose
Salary: $95,900 - 149,600 per year
Requirements:
We need strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM. We require solid experience with AXI, NoC, Ethernet, PCIe, UCIe, and switch verification. We are looking for hands-on knowledge of CPU architectures such as ARM and RISC-V, along with C programming skills. We expect experience in regression execution and coverage closure. We require 5–7 years of related experience with a four-year degree, or 3 years with an advanced degree, or equivalent practical experience. We need a senior-level engineer who can work independently with minimal guidance. We value in-depth technical knowledge, complex problem-solving ability, and experience with technical and management tracking. We are looking for someone who can mentor junior colleagues and contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities:
We execute complete verification projects as a senior engineer with hands-on ownership. We mentor team members and provide guidance on verification best practices. We communicate with clients and participate in client interactions. We conduct detailed technical reviews and keep close track of technical and management progress. We guide the team in developing UVM-based SystemVerilog test benches. We define block, subsystem, and SoC-level test plans. We support verification methodologies, flows, and quality metrics for PCIe, NVMe, NAND, DDR, and CPU subsystems. We solve complex verification challenges and apply existing solutions from a fresh perspective.
