Requirements:

We require 6+ years of hands-on Dynatrace experience in large enterprise environments. We require 8+ years of overall experience in application performance monitoring, observability, or site reliability engineering. We require proven experience leading or supervising technical teams. We require strong expertise in Dynatrace OneAgent deployment and configuration. We require solid knowledge of Smartscape topology and service flow mapping. We require experience with alerting, dashboards, and custom metrics or events. We require a strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. We require experience with microservices and containerized environments, including Kubernetes and OpenShift. We require familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. We require strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. We prefer experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries. We prefer Dynatrace certifications such as Professional or Associate certification. We prefer experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. We prefer familiarity with complementary observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Prometheus. We prefer scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash. We prefer experience implementing AIOps or automation-driven monitoring strategies. We prefer leadership, strategic thinking, technical depth in observability platforms, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Responsibilities:
We will set team priorities, manage workload distribution, and ensure delivery against SLAs and KPIs. We will foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and technical excellence. We will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align observability initiatives with business goals. We will serve as the primary Dynatrace SME, owning platform architecture, deployment, and optimization. We will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale Dynatrace environments, whether SaaS or Managed. We will define and enforce monitoring standards, naming conventions, alerting strategies, and governance. We will implement advanced Dynatrace capabilities, including distributed tracing, real user monitoring, synthetic monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and AIOps or anomaly detection. We will optimize instrumentation across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. We will develop and execute an enterprise observability roadmap aligned to digital transformation initiatives. We will drive adoption of full-stack monitoring across application, infrastructure, and user experience layers. We will identify and close observability gaps across critical systems. We will lead performance analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement efforts. We will work closely with application development, DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams. We will act as a trusted advisor on performance engineering best practices. We will support incident management and post-incident reviews with actionable insights. We will provide executive-level reporting and dashboards on system health and performance trends. We will ensure our monitoring solutions meet financial industry security, audit, and compliance requirements. We will maintain documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards. We will support audit and regulatory activities related to monitoring and observability.
