SharePoint Systems Engineer
Salary: $180,000 - 225,000 per year
Requirements:
We require an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. We are looking for 10 or more years of relevant experience in systems engineering, application engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related discipline. We require a bachelors or masters degree in a STEM field. We require compliance with DoDD 8140 through an active Security+ CE certification, at minimum. We need hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and sustaining SharePoint as application-as-code through a CI/CD pipeline in a cloud environment. We need hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and sustaining Tableau as application-as-code through a CI/CD pipeline in a cloud environment. We require proven experience delivering applications as application-as-code through CI/CD automation. We need strong engineering discipline, advanced troubleshooting capability, and solid solution-design skills. We require expertise in Windows-based implementation and troubleshooting. We need experience with relational and/or non-relational databases such as Cassandra, MySQL, or MongoDB. We require experience integrating applications with ServiceNow, custom workflow systems, case-management platforms, ticketing tools, or automation platforms. We need familiarity with identity and access management technologies such as Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, and/or OIDC. We require demonstrated ability to develop unit, system, user, and validation test plans. We need strong technical writing skills and excellent verbal and written communication. We require experience building integration interfaces with Python, PowerShell, and Groovy. We prefer working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab. We require the ability to work on-site in Sterling, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
We configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications as application-as-code through CI/CD pipelines in cloud-based environments. We engineer and support SharePoint and Tableau deployments using automated, repeatable delivery methods. We develop and maintain integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy. We integrate applications with workflow, case-management, ticketing, and automation platforms, including ServiceNow or custom-built systems. We implement identity and access integrations using technologies such as Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC. We work with relational and non-relational databases including Cassandra, MySQL, and MongoDB. We create detailed test plans for unit, system, user, and validation testing. We diagnose complex Windows and application issues, determine root causes, and deliver lasting fixes. We apply structured systems-engineering practices across requirements, interfaces, dependencies, security, infrastructure, and cloud services. We produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex issues effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
