Hardware Engineer - Embedded Systems
Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field. An additional 5 years of hardware engineering experience may substitute for a degree. Over 14 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT applications. Familiarity with ServiceNow and/or other ticketing systems is preferred. Must possess a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Ability to stay in a stationary position for 70% of the time. Capability to occasionally move within the office for communication and accessing necessary resources.
Responsibilities:
Travel 10%–20% CONUS/OCONUS as required to install hardware, interpret a CRL, and wire racks according to technical specifications. Diagnose hardware problems and collaborate with various organizations during TDY assignments. Oversee hardware-related ServiceNow (SNOW), NLYTE, and JIRA tickets while providing frequent updates to clients. Coordinate all aspects of hardware projects, such as scheduling, budgeting, and refining technical performance criteria. Conduct engineering reviews of deployment packages submitted by clients to detect and rectify discrepancies. Complete necessary documentation to secure approvals for shipping equipment to staging areas and keep stakeholders updated (e.g., MDATs, TOEs). Execute immediate adjustments, maintenance, support, and replacement of malfunctioning hardware (Break/Fix assistance). Create schedules and logistical plans for the effective management of hardware throughout the program. Organize and supervise hardware installations across multiple operational locations.
