Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree or technical diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. We are looking for experience in embedded Linux development, firmware integration, Linux-based product development, or comparable embedded systems work. We need strong command of the C language. We value practical familiarity with Linux environments, including command-line usage, configuration files, logs, scripting, and debugging practices. We expect experience integrating, testing, or troubleshooting software in Linux-based or embedded product settings. We need the ability to analyze software and system issues using logs, traces, command-line utilities, configuration data, and structured troubleshooting approaches. We look for an understanding of Linux product architecture, including services, processes, networking, file systems, boot behavior, and system configuration. We require a basic grasp of hardware/software interaction in embedded systems. We value strong analytical thinking, curiosity, independence, and a willingness to keep learning. We need the ability to collaborate effectively with hardware, SQA, firmware, software, and production teams. Nice-to-have experience includes telecom, networking, broadband access, embedded communication products, scripting, test automation, version control, issue tracking, validation, production support, or field issue analysis.
Responsibilities:
We develop, maintain, integrate, and troubleshoot embedded telecom software in a Linux-based product environment. We contribute to product features, diagnostics, system services, configuration, and management functions. We work with Linux command-line tools, build environments, configuration files, logs, scripts, and debugging workflows. We support integration with hardware interfaces, board-level functions, communication interfaces, and product management features. We assist with board bring-up, firmware integration, and system-level debugging alongside hardware and validation teams. We investigate software, firmware, and hardware interaction problems using logs, traces, lab setups, configuration data, and structured debugging methods. We support SQA and hardware validation during test execution, issue reproduction, regression testing, and release verification. We contribute to bug fixes, regression analysis, technical risk identification, and product release readiness. We work on embedded software for broadband access, Ethernet, XGS-PON, and multi-dwelling unit product environments. We support product configuration, management interfaces, interoperability, diagnostics, and field issue analysis. We prepare clear technical documentation, including design notes, test notes, issue analyses, and user-facing technical information when needed. We collaborate with hardware, SQA, firmware, software, product, production, and customer-facing technical teams.

This role gives us the chance to contribute across the full product lifecycle, from design and integration through validation, release, production support, and field issue investigation.
