Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: $187,200 - 197,600 per year
Requirements:
We need a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, along with 4+ years of relevant industry experience. We are looking for strong C++ expertise, particularly in low-latency, high-performance development across user space and kernel space. We require solid Linux development experience, including networking and system-level programming. We need proficiency in Python, test automation tools such as Pytest, Git, build tools like Bazel, and unit testing frameworks such as GTest. We value hands-on experience with embedded interfaces including Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and CAN for hardware/software integration testing.
Responsibilities:
We architect, implement, and maintain high-quality C++ applications for embedded Linux systems with an emphasis on low-latency, high-performance solutions. We develop Python-based automation frameworks and supporting tools to improve test execution, integration, and validation workflows. We build and enhance hardware and software sensor emulators, while maintaining and extending existing test assets and validation frameworks. We integrate embedded software with FPGA-based and ECU hardware using interfaces such as Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and CAN. We test, troubleshoot, and verify hardware and software components to support product quality and reliability through comprehensive verification methods.
