Journeyman Software Developer
Salary: $79,000 - 135,000 per year
Requirements:
We are looking for a junior to mid-level software developer with 3 to 8 years of software development experience. We need proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust if C or C++ experience is not available. We require experience building applications that communicate with hardware devices, controllers, sensors, or industrial equipment. We expect the ability to identify and resolve software and hardware integration problems. We value the ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies. We are seeking strong problem-solving ability and close attention to detail. We need excellent communication skills. We expect the ability to collaborate with others to achieve goals and meet program schedules. We require an active Secret clearance. We require U.S. citizenship to obtain a clearance. We require a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical field.
Responsibilities:
We develop and support software applications that interface with hardware systems. We design, implement, and test device communication and control capabilities. We troubleshoot software, hardware, and integration issues. We collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver dependable solutions. We participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
