Sr. Specialist, Application Development

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year
Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree with 6 years of software development experience focused on backend systems, or a graduate degree with 4 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, we require at least 10 years of software development experience with a backend systems emphasis. We require an active Secret clearance at the time of hire. We require U.S. citizenship. We are looking for strong proficiency in Golang, C#, JavaScript, and Vue, or comparable languages. We value familiarity with PLM tools, CAD/CAM environments, and custom-built applications aligned to the ISR business model. We need a solid understanding of microservices architecture. We prefer experience integrating diverse tools into a PLM suite, including simulations, requirements management, and MBSE. We expect experience with Teamcenter RAC and/or Active Workspace. We seek hands-on experience with large data migrations and transformations. We need comfort working directly with infrastructure and architecture across virtualization platforms and program and enterprise teams. We are looking for excellent problem-solving ability, adaptability to emerging technologies, and strong communication and prioritization skills. We expect the ability to work independently, manage work with minimal oversight, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
We develop, maintain, integrate, upgrade, and enhance Golang Teamcenter libraries, NX ufunc, Capital Harness DRC libraries, and other reusable codebases. We build, support, and improve our microservices within the technology stack. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect backend systems with web applications. We independently manage self-directed and time-driven initiatives with a high degree of autonomy. We stay current on industry trends and new technologies to keep our systems modern and effective. We troubleshoot API integration and microservices issues while aligning solutions with established security controls. We contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient backend systems. We advocate for and help determine the best design approach based on defined requirements. We support additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
