Sustainment Program Manager - Air Defense

Salary: $134,000 - 267,145 per year
Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree in engineering, business, or a related field plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent blend of education and professional background. We are looking for proven experience in program management, production management, or supply chain management. We need demonstrated leadership of large programs or portfolios. We value strong communication skills across both technical and programmatic topics. We expect experience working with customers and suppliers. We require demonstrated use of EVMS reporting and PMM tools. We need the ability to travel domestically and internationally. We require eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance. We require U.S. citizenship for consideration due to the security clearance requirement. We prefer international program management execution and capture experience. We prefer experience with radar system production and sustainment programs. We prefer knowledge of military logistics and maintenance principles. We prefer understanding of the Department of Defense acquisition process. We prefer strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to program leadership, business leadership, and prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
We serve as the primary customer point of contact across the full lifecycle of fielded systems. We lead sustainment and post-delivery support for multiple products. We direct all phases of sustainment from selloff through disposal. We coordinate recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and work assignments for subordinate employees. We own strategic long-range planning for the product line, including OSEC and Lockheed Martin investment areas such as MA, B&P, IRAD, and capital/expense. We provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the product line team. We oversee program execution across cost, schedule, and technical performance for sustainment efforts. We build and maintain customer relationships for current and emerging products. We develop new business and expand sustainment offerings with existing customers. We lead contract negotiations, proposal development, and business case creation. We report program progress, challenges, and achievements to senior market segment leadership.
