Lead data center construction projects delivered by colocation providers, ensuring projects finish on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across multiple projects and coordinate milestone delivery with colocation providers. Create and manage project budgets, optimizing resource use for cost-effective delivery. Produce, review, and maintain project documentation, including design reviews, commissioning materials, and problem-solving papers. Implement and oversee quality control processes so construction work aligns with design specifications and industry standards. Coordinate tenant fit-out activities and ensure alignment across design, construction, and commissioning phases. Conduct detailed site walks to track schedule, coordination, and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Lead startup and commissioning activities for major data center projects, ensuring systems are operational and meet design intent. Assess project risk across multiple initiatives and develop tailored mitigation strategies. Serve as the main contact between our company and colocation providers, resolving routine issues and supporting clear communication. Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance and performance. Work with design teams to confirm construction activities follow approved plans and specifications, addressing routine design issues independently. Oversee installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems while maintaining quality standards. Manage moderately complex tasks, monitor deliverables, delegate work, and adjust plans to respond to changes in resources or timelines. Provide input to colocation provider evaluations to support continuous improvement. Take part in candidate interviews, assess applicants, and provide hiring recommendations.
