Senior AWS Cloud Manager
Salary: $157,000 - 192,000 per year
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced leader with a track record of guiding legacy infrastructure migrations to AWS. We need someone who has managed sizable technical organizations, ideally teams of 15-40+ people. We expect a strong foundation in cloud operations, incident response, and service reliability. We require practical knowledge of AWS architecture, scalability, security, and performance tuning. We value experience with cloud spend management, budgeting, and FinOps practices. We are seeking someone with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. We want experience leading through team leads or managers. We need familiarity with modernization efforts involving on-premises, monolithic, or hybrid cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
We will rely on this leader to drive large-scale cloud transformation programs, including migrations from legacy platforms to AWS. We expect them to manage and grow Cloud Managers and cloud engineering teams across Platform Engineering, SRE, and Cloud Operations. They will ensure our cloud environments remain highly available, performant, and operationally mature. They will define governance frameworks, operating standards, and AWS best practices. They will lead incident management, reliability enhancements, and automation initiatives. They will work with Finance to optimize cloud spend and put FinOps practices in place. They will partner across Product, Engineering, Security, and Compliance to support business goals.
