Salesforce PSS Developer
Salary: $81,499 - 138,549 per year
Requirements:
We require an active Salesforce Administrator Certification or Platform App Builder Certification, along with a Salesforce Developer Certification such as Platform Developer I or II. We need 3+ years of practical Salesforce development experience, including custom development with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. We need 1+ year of experience working with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and its core framework components. We require 3+ years of experience using Salesforce development tools such as VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and Workbench, as well as Agile tools like Jira and Confluence. A Public Trust or active Secret clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required because of federal contract obligations. Applicants must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform all work in the U.S. Applicants must have lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years. Experience with OmniStudio, including Flex Cards, OmniScripts, DataMappers, and Integration Procedures, is strongly preferred. Strong Salesforce configuration and administration experience is preferred, including flows, Community Sites, custom objects, fields, validation rules, SSO, email relay, user administration, and AppExchange package management. Experience with external integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools is preferred. Prior work with federal government clients and familiarity with ATO processes or federal cybersecurity standards is preferred. Experience with DevOps activities such as package creation and deployment, code scan review and remediation, and regression testing is preferred. Experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation for Salesforce solutions is preferred. We are looking for strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. We value critical thinking, close attention to detail, and the ability to produce polished, well-structured written deliverables. Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks are important.
Responsibilities:
We design, develop, and configure Salesforce solutions using low-code/no-code tools and custom code to meet DHS requirements. We implement and tailor Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud to support case management, citizen engagement portals, and related workflows. We work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions, user stories, workflows, and system features. We build and maintain integrations with external systems, ensuring secure information exchange and compliance with federal standards. We support data migration from legacy platforms, including mapping, transformation, and validation to protect accuracy and integrity. We write clean, efficient, well-documented code aligned with Salesforce best practices and federal security requirements such as NIST and FISMA. We help prepare technical documentation for project deliverables, gate reviews, and ATO cybersecurity needs. We troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while improving performance and scalability for long-term support. We support user training by sharing technical guidance and helping ensure the solution is intuitive and adoptable.
