Requirements:
We require experience managing project workflows and fostering team collaboration with VS Code, JetBrains IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab. We require hands-on experience with Java and Rust. We require hands-on experience with C++ and Python. We require familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipeline development. We require experience working in Linux environments, including Ubuntu and Red Hat. We require experience with agile software development practices. We prefer at least 8 years of software development experience. We prefer experience with networking and protobuf. We prefer experience leading, mentoring, and guiding high-performing software development teams. We prefer a self-motivated, proactive mindset. We prefer the ability and eagerness to learn new skills and expand technical expertise. We require a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical field. We require U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities:
We develop and integrate Government-owned and contractor-developed software aboard Unmanned Surface Vessels. We design and implement secure, scalable software architectures. We work with vendor platforms, payloads, and sensors to support successful hardware integration. We collaborate closely with the H62 Mission Autonomy Lead to manage agile iterations and interpret operational needs into technical specifications. We establish technical baselines and prioritize high-value development work. We support the management of security clearance requirements and related investigation processes as needed for the role.
