Responsibilities
Research, prototype, and implement algorithms in Python and C++ for robotic systems. Develop and maintain software for robotic and drone systems using ROS and ROS2. Design, wire, and troubleshoot embedded systems for robotics and drone payloads. Validate and debug hardware using lab instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and bench power supplies. Create CAD models and 3D-printed parts for custom enclosures and mounts. Assemble and configure compute hardware, including GPU workstations and embedded computing platforms. Configure IP networks, manage addressing, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Work with RTSP video streams and IP camera feeds in live systems. Read and process KLV metadata embedded in video streams. Integrate and manage data flows across networked robotic and drone systems. Assist with flight testing, calibration, and field operations for drone platforms.
