Software Engineer II, Autonomy Platform, Data and Tools

## Responsibilities - Optimizing runtime performance of core algorithms by exploiting underlying hardware acceleration capabilities - Integrating new sensors and hardware components into the autonomy software stack - Developing and customizing our Nvidia Jetpack based platform and OS. - Building data pipelines and tools to enable our ML-development flywheel - Developing software to enable remote diagnostics, recovery and control of autonomous robots - Building visualization tools for analyzing and debugging robot behavior - Designing and developing software interfaces to enable hardware testing and manufacturing processes. ## Requirements - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence ## Nice to Have - Experience with CUDA kernels or ML/low-level kernels - Experience in embedded development in C/C++ - Experience working in a cloud based development and production environment such as AWS - Experience building tools for building, testing, releasing or monitoring - Experience in Unix, or experience working with device technologies under development, familiarity with flashing firmware, basic device debugging and familiarity with reading/pulling device logs - Experience building custom distributions using tools such as Yocto or Buildroot ## Benefits 1.
