Equity Specialist - Cloud Account Jr.

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:
We prefer an associates or bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. We look for 0–2 years of experience in cloud administration, IT support, account administration, technical operations, or a similar area. We expect experience managing cloud environments such as IaaS, PaaS, and SIP platforms. We value a solid understanding of cloud billing, quota management, and cost control. We need knowledge of authentication, authorization, and broader security best practices. We require experience working with cloud provider support teams. We seek strong documentation abilities and the capacity to develop clear processes and procedures. We look for excellent written and verbal communication skills. We want someone who is highly organized, proactive, and detail-focused. We require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. We consider experience in multi-cloud environments, cloud provisioning tools, or IT operations, DevOps, or cloud governance as a plus.
Responsibilities:
We create and activate new cloud accounts across the organization. We ensure cloud accounts are fully operational, including provisioning, payment setup, and financial compliance. We carry out decommissioning steps for retired cloud accounts. We keep all cloud accounts usable around the clock. We ensure payments to cloud providers are made on time and never become delinquent. We increase and manage capacity quotas when needed. We handle billing and technical issues promptly and coordinate resolutions. We respond to cloud provider communications professionally and without delay. We coordinate mitigation actions for outages, maintenance windows, and service disruptions. We maintain communication with assigned customer success representatives. We ensure proper support plans are enabled on all accounts. We monitor cloud spend to avoid unnecessary overspending. We collect financial metrics and other required performance data. We provide regular, transparent updates to management on risks and material changes. We document procurement workflows and develop standard operating procedures. We keep routine team activities documented. We maintain organized records of account configurations and operating standards. We protect cloud account credentials and enforce strong authentication and authorization controls, including 2FA. We maintain a strict need-to-know access model. We coordinate login authorization with management. We ensure account access information can be securely recovered if lost. We represent the company professionally in all provider communications to strengthen long-term partnerships.
