Data Center Project Manager

Salary: $111,300 - 186,100 per year
Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. We look for experience taking new design concepts from early exploration through development and into deployment or mass production. We require proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Windows operating systems. We require experience with power management and power monitoring systems. Preferred: 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or similar critical infrastructure environments. Preferred: knowledge of critical data center equipment. Preferred: familiarity with engineering documentation, electrical schematics, and standard operating procedures. Preferred: understanding of building codes and regulations such as Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA. Preferred: experience in data center engineering operations with strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Preferred: ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings across all domains.
Responsibilities:
We oversee project direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion while keeping projects aligned with our strategy, commitments, and goals. We manage construction activity within operational data center spaces as part of our Critical Projects Implementation work. We drive infrastructure improvement initiatives that optimize space, power, and cooling within live data centers worldwide. We serve as a technical resource inside our data centers and support highly complex facility design, build, and operations work. We review and coordinate all project disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural elements. We identify opportunities for improvement and act on data provided by other teams and organizations. We design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to operational challenges. We contribute independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. We support projects involving electrical systems, mechanical systems, fire detection, and building automation systems.
