Responsibilities
Own the accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, coding, approval verification, payment preparation, and vendor relationship management. Manage accounts receivable activities including customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and follow-up on outstanding balances. Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and resolve billing discrepancies. Perform daily and monthly bank and cash reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Review and process employee expense reports for policy compliance and accuracy. Support timely and accurate month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and research and clear reconciling items. Support annual financial statement audits by preparing schedules and gathering documentation. Help maintain and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and process documentation. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and introduce automation and AI tools.
