Job Overview:
The Biomedical Research Institute of Málaga is hiring a Nurse for the EECC UGC Hematology HUVV Pool Project. The project involves the study of prognostic factors at the genomic level that influence the treatment and evolution of patients with malignant hematologic disorders, individualized treatment, quality of life (focused on plasma cell neoplasms), and clinical trials in patients with hematologic neoplasms. The position is based at the IBIMA Bionand Platform, located at Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage clinical trials and observational studies.
- Handle and manage databases related to clinical research.
- Support biomedical research activities and research project management.
- Provide direct patient care.
- Administer, collect, and manage questionnaires and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs and PROs).
- Process laboratory samples.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Knowledge of laboratory sample processing.
- Minimum B1 English proficiency.
- Experience in coordinating and managing clinical trials and observational studies (1 point per year, max 4 points).
- Experience in handling and managing databases related to clinical research.
- Experience in activities supporting biomedical research and research project management.
- Proven experience in direct patient care, as well as in administering, collecting, and managing questionnaires and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs and PROs) (2 points).
- All requirements must be certified by a certificate issued by the competent authority or responsible declaration.

Selection Process:
Candidates are evaluated based on merits. At least the three best candidates will be selected for a personal interview to assess communication skills, aptitude for work, and abilities (maximum 3 points). Candidates must obtain at least 50% of the points from assessable merits to be eligible for the interview phase.
