Job Overview:
The Biomedical Research Institute of Málaga is hiring a professional to collaborate in the research line "IBIMA-BE-23 NEW HORIZONS FOR ONCOLOGICAL PATIENTS". The project focuses on clinical-translational research in breast, prostate, gynecological, digestive, and germ cell cancers. The position is under the responsibility of Researcher Álvaro Montesa Pino.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical-translational research in breast, prostate, gynecological, digestive, and germ cell cancers.
- Manage and treat various types of neoplasms.
- Assess radiological tests using Recist 1.1 criteria.
- Manage and include patients in Clinical Trials.
- Conduct phase I clinical trials.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education Level: PhD or equivalent.
- Specific Requirement: Medical Specialist in Medical Oncology.
- Demonstrable experience as a Collaborator in Medical Oncology trials.
- Demonstrable experience in the management and treatment of various types of neoplasms.
- Previous experience in the assessment of radiological tests using Recist 1.1 criteria.
- Experience in the management and inclusion of patients in Clinical Trials.
- Experience in conducting phase I clinical trials.
Selection Process:
- Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, work aptitude, and abilities will be evaluated, with a maximum of 3 points.
- Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the points for assessable merits will be eligible for the interview phase.
- After the resolution of the position, and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring committee may decide to resolve in favor of the next candidate according to the scoring list.
