Job Overview:
The University of Agriculture in Krakow is seeking an Assistant/research & teaching worker for the Department of Food Biotechnology. The role involves research and teaching responsibilities within the field of Agricultural Sciences, specifically Food Technology and Human Nutrition.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the field of Food Technology.
- Teach at the university level, particularly conducting laboratory classes in Biochemistry or related subjects.
- Apply knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Utilize HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) methods for the analysis of food components.
- Cultivate filamentous fungi, bacteria, and human and animal cell lines.
- Present oral communications and/or poster presentations at scientific conferences.
- Communicate knowledge effectively and demonstrate organizational skills.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
- Master of Science in Engineering (MSc Eng.) in the field of Agricultural Sciences, having completed a degree programme in Food Technology and Human Nutrition; OR
- PhD degree awarded in the field of Agricultural Sciences, in the discipline of Food Technology and Nutrition.

Skills and Experience:
- Authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications in the field of Food Technology, including publications in journals listed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
- Active participation in at least three scientific conferences through the presentation of oral communications and/or poster presentations.
- Experience in teaching at the university level, particularly in conducting laboratory classes in Biochemistry or related subjects.
- Several years of experience working in analytical and microbiological laboratories.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Practical experience in the application of HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) methods for the analysis of food components.
- Experience in the cultivation of filamentous fungi, bacteria, and human and animal cell lines.

Specific Requirements:
- Documented pedagogical training.
- Certificate of completion of a training course in the operation of steam sterilization autoclaves.
- Demonstrated commitment to and aptitude for teaching and research.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate knowledge effectively.
- Well-developed organizational skills.

Languages:
- Polish: Mother Tongue level (fluent command, both spoken and written).
