Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at Phorest, you will be a key member of our development team, working on a variety of projects that support our mission. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users. You will also be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Troubleshoot and debug existing code
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python)
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
- Understanding of database systems and SQL
