Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial chiller systems; Perform preventive maintenance on centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating chillers; Diagnose and repair refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control system issues; Monitor chiller performance and adjust operating parameters to optimize efficiency; Service associated HVAC equipment, including cooling towers, condenser water systems, chilled water pumps, expansion tanks, and piping systems; Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, leak detection, and repairs in compliance with EPA regulations; Conduct vibration analysis, oil testing, and equipment performance assessments; Maintain and calibrate temperature, pressure, flow, and control systems; Respond to emergency service calls and equipment failures; Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment performance data; Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and facility management teams on major repairs and projects; Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies; Assist in equipment upgrades, retrofits, and capital improvement projects.
