Offer Description:
The Director of Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw, with the Project Leader, announce opening of the competition for the position of PhD Student in the Laboratory of Neuroeconomics– Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent. Specifically, an MSc degree in exact sciences, natural sciences or related discipline. The MSc degree should be obtained before the date of employment in the project.
- Research Field: Biological sciences » Other.
- Skills: Experience in applying computational approaches to analysis of big data. A person with a degree in Neuroinformatics or a related field, with demonstrated strong analytical skills and a solid background in neuroscience methods.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data science (most notably Python and MATLAB) is expected. Experience with machine learning, signal processing, or neural data analysis will be a strong asset.
- Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, capable of working independently, and open to interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Language: Working knowledge of English is required due to the international nature of the project and the scientific literature involved.
- Specific Requirements: Confirmed status of a PhD student (on the date of starting work in the project at the latest).
