Responsibilities
Handle product transfer and new product set up; Support production by assessing product engineering issues; Suggest improvements to process for quality and yield; Solve product related problems and perform failure evaluation; Interact with customer and various departments on product issues; Work with design team to resolve design related issues; Suggest modifications to work instructions, materials, or product changes; Evaluate customer Bill of Material (BOM) and define structure; Review Functional Product Documentation; Identify Safety Requirements and regulations compliance; Interpret Engineering Drawings; Manage Engineering Changes Implementation; Conduct DFM, tolerance evaluation, DOE, and form-fit-function analysis; Provide support to supply chain for part integration; Provide product training to manufacturing engineers
