To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Aguascalientes.
The Quality Engineer role involves maintains quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.
What a typical day looks like:
Key Responsibilities
1. New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Lead the implementation of quality requirements during early project phases.
• Participate in design reviews (DFM/DFA) to ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Develop and implement:
• PFMEA
• Control Plans
• Process Flow Charts
• Work Instructions
• Ensure compliance with release criteria (FAI, FAT, First Pass Yield).
• Identify quality risks and define mitigation plans.
2. QMS Implementation and Management
• Implement and maintain quality systems under applicable standards (ISO 9001, IATF, or equivalent).
• Define and monitor KPIs:
• DPMO
• FPY
• OEE (in coordination with Operations)
• Manage:
• CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
• Internal and external audits
• Change control (ECO/ECR)
• Lead data-driven continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma).
3. Customer Quality Management
• Develop and maintain customer quality agreements.
• Align acceptance criteria, inspection standards, and testing requirements.
• Manage:
• Customer escalations
• 8D / Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Executive quality reports
• Ensure effective and timely communication with key stakeholders.
• Represent Quality in customer-facing meetings.
4. Operational Control & Production Support
• Ensure proper control of non-conforming product (NCMR).
• Implement robust shop floor controls:
• Red tag systems
• Material segregation
• Poka-Yoke
• Support defect reduction initiatives related to:
• Workmanship
• Cable routing / wiring issues
• Monitor quality at critical stations (e.g., FAT, functional testing).
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
• Bachelor or Engineer Degree.
• Advance English
• Deep understanding of flex flow.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to the QMS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Senior experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field.

• PFMEA
• Control Plan
• MSA
• SPC
• Methodologies:
• 8D
• Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone)
• Lean Manufacturing
• Systems:
• MES / Traceability systems
• Advanced data analysis (Excel or equivalent)
