## About the role This role is primarily focused on frontend quality assurance. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to validate user-facing features, identify inconsistencies, and ensure a seamless experience across devices and browsers. We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail who can identify functional issues, UI inconsistencies, responsiveness problems, and gaps in user workflows. ## Responsibilities - Test web and mobile application features from an end-user perspective - Create and execute test cases covering functional, usability, and UI validation - Validate responsive behavior across different screen sizes and devices - Perform cross-browser testing to ensure consistent user experience - Verify design implementation against Figma designs and product requirements - Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and impact assessment - Test complete user journeys including onboarding, forms, dashboards, settings, and transactional flows - Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams during feature development - Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release testing - Maintain QA documentation and testing checklists ## Must Have - 1-2 years of QA experience testing web applications - Strong understanding of frontend testing principles - Experience testing responsive applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices - Ability to identify UI inconsistencies, visual defects, and usability issues - Strong attention to detail and user-centric thinking - Excellent bug-reporting and communication skills - Ability to independently own testing efforts for assigned features ## Good to Have - Familiarity with browser developer tools - Exposure to API testing using Postman - Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks - Experience working with Figma and design specifications - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies - Exposure to test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium ## What Success Looks Like - **First 30 Days**: Understand product workflows, user journeys, and release processes. Begin testing features and contributing to sprint releases. - **First 60 Days**: Independently own frontend testing for assigned modules. Build comprehensive test scenarios covering edge cases and usability considerations. - **First 90 Days**: Become a trusted quality owner for frontend releases.
