Own departmental processes for machinery, gaging, quality, tooling, capacity, and documentation; Lead new product launch teams in designing manufacturing plans; Lead capacity planning and capital forecasting; Evaluate and procure new machining, assembly, and test equipment; Lead machine installation, robotic integration, and handoff to production; Troubleshoot machine downtime (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, coolant) and tooling issues; Support production shifts and daily meetings; Lead cost reduction projects by analyzing layout, workflow, and workforce utilization; Provide feedback to product development on manufacturability; Train team leads and operators; Update manufacturing documents (FMEA, tool sheets, job instructions).
