Responsibilities
Develop and submit system engineering technical proposals for client tenders, Lead and coordinate system design activities and tollgate reviews, Prepare and consolidate Cost-Time-Resource (CTR) estimates, Manage technical clarifications and exceptions with clients during the bidding phase, Identify project risks, assumptions, and qualification gaps early in the tender stage, Support the System Engineering Manager in delivering system engineering scope on assigned projects, Develop key system engineering deliverables such as Basis of Design (BoD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and engineering philosophies, Ensure effective integration of multiple components and subsystems to achieve optimal system performance and operability, Support system requirements management, including specification development and flow-down to subsystems, products, and components, Assist in validation and verification activities, including system-level testing, Support technical interface management across internal teams and external stakeholders, Identify and drive technical opportunities for variation orders in collaboration with project engineering leadership, Support Critical to Quality (CTQ) assessment and risk trade-offs across multidisciplinary teams, Act as deputy to the System Engineering Manager when required, Contribute to technical aspects of commercial pursuits, ensuring competitive and robust system solutions
