Responsibilities
Direct overall operation, management, and safety of the unit offshore; supervise rig positioning and anchor mooring; plan and supervise rig activities such as repairs and maintenance; coordinate with supervisors regarding vessel ballast and loading; order rig supplies and parts; make decisions regarding equipment utilization; conduct daily briefs with the Drilling Section Leader; command the vessel under direction; oversee catering staff and hygiene; carry out administrative functions including logbook entries and budget preparation; implement safety and environmental policies; train and develop subordinate personnel.
