Responsibilities
Assume authority and responsibility for quality, HSE, safety, and personnel decisions at the drilling site; Plan, organize, and manage daily drilling operations including drilling, well testing, workover, well control, rig up/down, and rig move; Ensure risks are evaluated and mitigated and HSE policies are communicated and complied with; Supervise key and critical operations and verify quality and HSE compliance before signing work permits; Maintain structural integrity of the rig and oversee preventive maintenance programs; Train and evaluate the crew and Rig Supervisors, and maintain a positive relationship with the client.
