Product Data Officer - Medical Devicer (Fixed-Term Contract)
We are looking for 8 Product Data Officers to join our Product Reference Team in Madrid. This 6-month temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to join a multicultural, dynamic, and collaborative team while developing expertise in the rapidly growing Medical Devices sector.
As a member of the Product Reference Team, you will contribute to the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Global Medical Devices Product Reference Database. You will be responsible for researching, analyzing, standardizing, and validating product information from multiple sources to ensure the highest standards of data quality, consistency, and integrity.
You will also collaborate with Governance and Business teams to identify opportunities for data improvements, new classifications, product groupings, and enhanced reference data structures.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and validate equivalent product records across multiple data sources to ensure data consistency and integration.
• Create, update, and maintain Medical Devices product reference data.
• Classify, standardize, and group products according to established business rules, hierarchies, and operating procedures.
• Conduct product research using a variety of internal and external information sources.
• Utilize Artificial Intelligence and digital tools to collect, structure, enrich, and analyze product information.
• Review, verify, and validate AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
• Support Governance and Business teams by analyzing product data and identifying opportunities for enhancements and process improvements.
• Detect and correct inaccurate, incomplete, or duplicate data records.
• Investigate and resolve routine data issues and exceptions.
• Perform quality control activities to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Maintain and update process documentation and operating procedures.
• Identify automation opportunities and leverage technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and data quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reference data management practices.
• Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in:
• Life Sciences
• Biomedical Engineering
• Health Sciences
• Data Analytics
• Information Management
• Or a related discipline
• Industry Knowledge
• Understanding of Medical Devices products, classifications, terminology, and related data sources is highly valued.
Languages
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
• Additional European languages, particularly French, German, or Italian, are considered a strong asset.
