## About the role Seeking an experienced Product Designer to craft exceptional user experiences for Proof of Skill, a blockchain-based protocol for skill verification and credentialing. The role involves designing seamless journeys for multiple stakeholders and collaborating closely with the engineering team. We're looking for someone who would liek the design what a modern day Resume and Assessment process should look like. If you're tired of the way Skill Evaluation works right now and would like to completely overhaul it, this is the right role for you. Proof of Skill protocol is a decentralized system where industry experts (Validators) evaluate candidates' skills and issue verifiable Skill Credentials. Organizations can then shortlist candidates based on these credentials. ## Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts, to understand product requirements and translate them into intuitive user experiences - Design end-to-end user journeys for multiple stakeholders, including validators, candidates, and organizations, ensuring a cohesive and consistent experience across all touchpoints - Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and visual designs that adhere to best practices and the brand's design language - Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve the product's design - Work closely with the engineering team to ensure successful implementation of designs and provide guidance on front-end development - Contribute to the development of design systems, component libraries, and design guidelines to maintain consistency across the product - Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices ## Requirements - 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in a technology or blockchain-related field - Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in designing user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent - Excellent understanding of user experience (UX) principles, information architecture, and interaction design - Experience in designing for multiple user personas and stakeholders - Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into design iterations - Knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and design patterns - Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their implications on design - Understanding of blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps) is a plus ## Ideal Candidate Traits - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently - Passion for creating delightful user experiences and solving complex design challenges - Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership - Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
