Responsibilities
Manage assigned claims caseload of low to moderate complexity damages; Partner with vendors and internal/external partners to facilitate claim resolution; Investigate claim damages via research and identify subrogation potential; Determine coverage and create SIU referrals when appropriate; Negotiate claim settlements; Coordinate with management for settlements outside authority limits; Maintain accurate claim file documentation; Apply knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools; Recognize and address jurisdictional challenges; Support workload surges and CAT response operations including mandatory on-call and travel; Handle various claim types including higher complexity as assigned; Ensure risks are identified and controlled per policy.
