Responsibilities
Perform ad hoc accounting activities in support of operations and the Financial Director; bank and audit cash boxes (front desk, bar, restaurants) and handle daily deposits and petty cash; organize and distribute paychecks; attend pre-convention and client billing review meetings; perform storeroom/receiving activities and verify receipt of materials; ensure timely renewal of hotel licenses/permits; transmit check copies and logs to shared services; assist in preparing and distributing departmental reports; answer incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately; assist in completing special projects assigned by the Finance Director; assist in computerized receiving reports and transmission of documentation; assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories.
