Responsibilities
Lead daily packaging operations to meet safety, quality, service, cost, capacity, and yield objectives; Ensure visual inspection, labeling, serialization, line clearance, component control, and reconciliation activities comply with approved procedures, batch records, validated processes, and cGMP requirements; Plan staffing, materials, equipment, and shift priorities in alignment with the production schedule; Maintain accurate and complete paper and electronic records in accordance with good documentation and data integrity requirements; Lead deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, risk assessments, and effectiveness checks related to packaging operations; Hire, train, coach, and manage employees; maintain workforce qualification, performance accountability, cross-training, and succession plans; Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and lead corrective actions and continuous-improvement initiatives; Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, Validation, Automation, Technical Services, and other functions to resolve issues and support product supply; Support equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, new-product introductions, audits, and regulatory inspections; Manage departmental resources and expenses and provide off-shift or weekend support as business needs require.
